What You’ll Do:

As a Millwright Technician, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and alignment of mechanical equipment and systems in shop and field environments. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Install, assemble, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform precision alignments, bearing replacements, mechanical inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals to support maintenance and installation work.
  • Contribute to the start-up and commissioning of new systems.
  • Complete ISO documentation as required.
  • Occasional travel throughout Canada may be required.

You’ll collaborate closely with the project teams and report directly to Shop Manager, helping drive innovation and excellence in mechanical service delivery.


What We're Looking For:

We’re excited to meet candidates who have:

  • Millwright / Industrial Mechanic certification, Hydraulic Mechanic/Technician, Electronics Technician/Technologist, Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic/Technician, or an acceptable combination of education and experience;
  • Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair;
  • Experience working with rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, cranes, or marine/mechanical systems is considered a strong asset;
  • Goal-driven with a commitment to safety and quality programs;
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset;
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask and meet deadlines;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products;
  • Offshore training is considered an asset;
  • Candidate must have an active and valid Drivers' license;
  • Candidate must be open to travel to client sites.

 

Compensation:

We offer an hourly wage in the range of $25.00 – $44.00 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience.
